Accept Credit Card Payment by way of Website?

What’s the most cost effective way to utilize credit card processing on a website? I’d like to sell one product on my website, a book, so I don’t want to pay monthly fees. I’d like to just pay a higher transaction %. Can anyone recommend a good processor I can integrate into my website?

you should go to http://www.processpremier.com. they can set you up for virtually nothing. there is only a small monthly fee, like $5-$10 and they take only a small percentage on their rates.

Try http://www.propay.com they are good. You can configure a secure page on your website to take the cc information. If you want an integrated solution they will charge you $199. They will charge you a established number of fees. With most merchant account providers it is not the case and you will get lots of hidden fees and disappointment. Propay is an accepted Ebay payment as well. And they don’t charge montly fees.
