Some online services offer email hosting plans without any web hosting service. These services are very cheaper in compared to web hostig services.

A reliable, cheap email hosting service is available at:

    http://www.goldpuma.com

Refer to menu: Web Hosting Services >>> Email Hosring

    Onlyt $1 /month.

They have a really great offer for email hosting & I have used them for over 2 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.

    Hope this helps.

no, you’ll have to get the domain hosted. You can host the domain and not have to design a website and only use it for email.

You can host the mail Server on your own Computer, and configure it use the Domain name you have.

    Hi.
According to me its not necessary for you to have a web hosting for your domain name in order to use emails for that domain. Email services are attached to the domain, and not the hosting of the domain.
In order to setup email service for your domain, such as Google Apps, you need to have complete access to your domain’s DNS settings. Not all domain name registrars offer this but some excellent ones like GoDaddy.com offer it.
In order setup email for your domain name, you need to have control over the MX-RECORDS of your domain name and the CNAME RECORDS of your domain name.
Google Apps standard edition is free which offers custom email hosting that is attached to your domain name, but the email accounts is limited to 50. For example, if your domain name is http://www.xyz.com, then you can create an email id like xyz@xyz.com, with that email account being hosted by Google Apps. It would be like any other Gmail id but with your domain name and custom access and control.
As previously mentioned, all that you need to do is change some MX-RECORDS and CNAME RECORDS to some values according to the email hosting provider.
And after that, you will have emails attached with your domain name without having to spend on webhosting.
But in case of necessity, that your domain registrar does not offer control over DNS settings, then you can host your domain for free on byethost.com [by far the best free hosting], and you can change the DNS settings over there.
    All the best.

I had the same problem before one month ago.
I bought a web hosting package with $2 from http://www.sideservers.com and i ask from them to use it only for emails, then they delete the subscription and they allow me to use the web hosting package only for emails for try .
    give a try

No no this is technically impossible, instead use http://www.tucktail.com/ as i do which gives free hosting services

Yes, f course you can. Hosting is only if you want a website. Many people register a domain only to use it for the email and never intend to have a website.
