Can I use more than one merchant account with my payment gateway?

I have a merchant account and a payment gateway with Aurthorize.net. I would like to get a second merchant account. I am wondering if I can use the same payment gateway(Authorize.net) for both merchant accounts? Or do I need a new payment gateway for the merchant account? Can I still use Authorize.net?

Please advise.

    No. You can only have one merchant account per gateway. If you get a new merchant account you’ll need a second Authorize.Net account as well.
