I’m starting my own business selling health products, vitamins, diet products..etc. I was told I needed a merchant account, but does it require that I have good credit? I do NOT have good credit.

It depends upon the back that you use for the merchant account. A small local bank will be more flexible and more inclined to work with you. Just because one bank says NO doesn’t mean all of them will.
