Yes.
I got my shopping cart free with free software to accept cards on my web site. Don’t pay for anything if you do not need to! Ask about the free terminal program because it is much cheaper!
Yes with every company you will need to because they obviously need to protect themselves and they do this by having a merchant account. A better option might be going with a more competitive credit card processing company who offers better rates then google. They tend to take more because it isnt their big focus. Email sales@firstbankcardprocessing.com and they can help you out with setting up a merchant account at a good price.
