My fiance and I are attempting to buy-out a Bar & Grill business, but have horrible credit scores. He just lost his job on top of that, so we are looking to possibly purchase the business with a partner (or two). It’s a popular business venture, and we already have all the paperwork to get going on funding. Throughout all our friends and family, we already have a line-up of servers, cooks, bartenders and even a manager. Where can we get the funding we need to purchase this business, be our own bosses and take care of our family? Any tips? Anyone in the Vancouver-Portland area interested in a partnership? The current owner is ready to sell NOW, so we are looking to start working NOW!
Please advise… Also, would it be easier to get funding for a small florist business or in-home daycare? (We’re a large family that likes to keep busy, busy, busy!)
