How long does it to build up enough positive credit to qualify for an unsecured credit card?

I have a secured credit card that I have been paying for about two months now and it is valid for one year, do you think that I might need to get another secured credit after my existing account ends before I can qualify for an unsecured credit card?

When you first open any type of credit, your score will dip for about 6 months and then will go higher than it was. If you have the secured credit card because you had no credit, after 6 months it is possible to get a secured card but after 12months, you really should be able to. Just handle it well. If you want to double the effect, get another secured card now..

You can, just make sure the secured card reports to the credit agencies
