I'm going to file a dispute against a strip club?

I’m sure this has happened to many people. And I’m sure you will all tell me there is nothing I can do about it.

I was a little drunk. After talking to the bank, I realized that I had paid 600+ dollars for the service that was not worth 600 dollars, and I never actually got the service I was promised. Sure I agreed to pay, but I did not agree not to get my service. Everything has a rate, so they over-charged me. Not only that, they half assed their service as well. They misinformed, misleaded, mis-advertised, and deceived me. When my credit card got declined, I asked for my money back, and they refused to do that as well.

Aside from that, the stripper literally took the money out of my pocket, without my permission and put it in her bra. Last time I checked, that’s called stealing.

I’m going all the way with this for the sake of learning the process. It’s not even about the money. I’m poor but I guess I could afford something like this once in my life. I need to learn from a mistake like this, so let’s make the most out of it.

My best bet for now is to place a dispute, as I used my credit card the whole time, and my bank gives me the option to dispute against them once the money has been transferred to them. Any tips or information that can help me get some refund would be appreciated.

And no reproaching please. I know I made a mistake, like I said, I was drunk. I will never do this again.
Yes, I know of incall out call.

Again, like I said, I was not fully alert at the time. I don’t want to hear parent-like advising that won’t do me any good. If you are knowledgeable enough to help, go ahead and answer the question. If not, don’t reproach me. Anyone who does will get a thumbs down and then reported for abuse. And can obviously kiss the "best answer" good bye.

Back many years ago I also was young and stupid and found myself in much the same position as you.

All I can say is it’s going to come down to she said he said and you will lose.

    Good luck.

If you stoop that low in life what do you expect. The stripper’s all have boy friend’s and you were enough of a fool to fall for their promise. You are out the money so live with it. Have you ever heard of incall outcall services where you actually get your money’s worth?

You can certainly try, and I would recommend that you try your best. Don’t let it go, keep talking to your bank and your agent or whatever. I don’t think you’d end up in a court where you’d have to speak to a judge, they should take care of it themselves. Don’t expect to get too much money back, but ask for all of it. Be happy with whatever you got.

Definitely go for it, it’ll be a good learning experience, as you said it yourself. It happened to me too but I didn’t think of doing this, I just kind of let it go.

And next time, look for the "incall outcall" thing, it’s worth it. :P
