I’m looking to start an online business, not sure what merchant account to use to process payments?

If I use my personal bank I use will it be more difficult or should I go w/ a strictly ecommerce merchant account. I’d rather a more package approach because I am not that savvy when it comes to programming.

Knowing what kind of business you intend to start can help me come up with the most helpful answer for you…

You should look into signing up with an internet merchant services provider who offers dedicated support for their clients. That is, you will get telephone support, not just email support, with a merchant account specialist who does just internet accounts.

In this case, you will have an internet merchant account that will link directly to your own bank. So your funds will be deposited into your regular bank account, you don’t need to set up a new one or switch.

Also, a dedicated internet merchant account provider will help you set up the shopping cart, payment gateway, or whatever other approach you take. Since you’re not a programmer, this "one stop shop" approach would be your best bet. One example is listed in the URL below. Good luck!
