Merchant Account Provider – Does anyone know where I can find one online?

Anyone know where me and my cousin can find a merchant account provider for our business. We currently only deal with cash transactions and would want to begin using credit card transactions. Does anyone know where I can find one online?

Thank you so much,

Jen

    Hello Jennifer,

I just switched over to credit card transactions too, I found a company online called Retriever NPC who offer merchant accounts, PCI compliance, and everything else you need. I put their link in the sources you can check them out, otherwise you can search on Google for a Merchant Account Company.

    You welcome,
    Sunny

Try Costco or Sams Club. The current rate is around 3%. Read your contract VERY carefully.

There are many companies that provide this service. The trick is finding one that will NOT lock you into a contract. Most people find out after they sign up for a merchant account that they were not told the truth about the real costs. Hidden fees and termination fees are common practice. Make sure the rates are really competitive and don’t just apply to debit cards ( a common trick). It wouldn’t hurt to read up on the industry and become more acquainted with it.
