Never respond to those unsolicited calls. They are phishing and looking for a steal-able identity. Even if the call was legitimate it does not mean you just get the approval. They do a credit check on you AFTER you tell them you want the credit. If you never had a card like that chances are they are calling from a list of people who are not credit-savvy and would fall for a scam.

    It’s a rip off–look at the APR.

Basically, they want to get you to take their credit card, so you’re preapproved. What’s funny is that they send that to everyone.

Girl go ahead and get it

If you never applied for it and it is with a company with which you have no prior history, I would consider it a scam. Don’t provide any personal information.

This is a scam. They want your information for most likely illegal reasons.I have a friend who recieved a $3000.00 check in the mail and despite us telling her it was a scam she cashed it only to find out that after the money was gone that it was a scam and is having to pay the bank back. Please be careful. If you have never had a credit card than check with the most known credit card companies. Also there are no credit card companies I know of that have a 0% interest rate.

I would check into it more if you have to pay anything before you get it don’t. Never give your soc or any personal info over the phone. If you didn’t apply then I would say it is a scam. Be careful! Get their information and call the better business bureau.

NOOOOOO It’s a trap! don’t fall for it. Once you get it, you’ll use it and eventually, your debt will build up and dang, there you’ll be in big trouble!
