I want to transfer existing balances from 3-4 credit cards of like 5k each to one account, whats best solution?
I have about 20k in credit card balances across 3-4 cards. I want to close those and transfer the balances or pay them off with a new line. Have you ever had an unsecured credit card company place a lein on your home for an unpaid balance or is this just some tactic that the collection agency is using to scare the consumer? Or have you known someone who had this experience? The balance they are quoting is substantially more that it had been a year ago.
