Can a credit card company raise your APR on a closed account if you made a late payment?
I recently chose to opt out of a higher interest rate on my credit card. They processed me opting out on the 13th. My next payment due date was the 16th. I was late, and it didn't go through until the 17th. Can they still raise my APR, because of the late payment, if I have closed the account?
