What is involved in the credit card dispute process?

I charged on my VISA, an item from a dealer and have reason to believe that the product was misrepresented. Bill says all sales final and the dealer refuses to accept a return and refund my money. What options do I have with a credit card dispute?

  1. Judy says:

I had a friend that bought a computer with American Express.
The computer had something wrong with it.
The guy got his money credited to his amex card the next day.
He fixed the computer on his own.
Yes, he got to keep it and never paid for it.

PS: these were extremely wealthy people that probably made amex a fortune anyway.

Contact your credit card company, they’ll walk you through the process.
