what is the best pre approved credit card for rebuilding credit.?

I’m looking to get a credit card to rebuild my credit… not really interested in a secured card to deposit money first. I have paid off all my debt to hospital bills and student loans and am in the process of trying to get them to give me a good faith adjustment. I don’t really need extra money, I’m just tying to rebuild bad credit.

So does anyone have any experience with a pre approved card that isn’t absolutely ridiculous?

If you have poor credit, you will have problems getting any credit card. Your only choice may be to go with a secured card. Go with a $200 limit. Use the card and pay in full every month. In about a year, you should be able to convert the secured card to a regular account.

There are three companies known for helping people rebuild credit. First Premier, Capital One and HSBC. Try these companies, if they deny you, you may need to start by getting the secured credit card.

Pre-approved is a marketing statement, not always an entirely true statement. Even the offer says pre-approved, they will not issue any credit card that does not require a deposit to someone who has bad credit.
