i have 1and1.com hosting and i gotta say its really cheap and they have everything you need.
go with godaddy.com
noip.com is what I used, it was like $14 a year. Cheap as free IMO, no ads and you have to use your own webserver.
The good thing about having your own web server is you can control what technologies it supports.
If you are just looking for webspace with no strings attached, angelfire or geocities are good free webspaces.
I have had great experiences with both MediaTemple and Dreamhost.
Dreamweaver is a program used to write web sites – you can write one that works and one that doesn’t. Whether it’s "compatible" with the host is up to you and how good a programmer you are. (If you’re talking about a drag-and-drop site, it’s not compatible with a business – it looks like the tinker-toy it is. Business web sites are written, not created by programs.)
I’ve worked with yahoo small business before and it’s elreally easy and pretty cheap only 8.90 a month or a year, I can’t remember. But it’s really easy and user friendly.
I use GoDaddy for domains and HostGator for hosting.
No matter where you go, register the domain yourself! Godaddy, Register.com, Netsol.com.
I prefer GoDaddy – lots of free extras and you can find discount coupons online.
If you let your ISP register the domain, they own it – not you. Several people I know went to Bizland for their hosting – and domain registration. When they decided to go elsewhere, BizLand wanted over $200 to release the domain name!
This is a common practice – so beware.
I recommend either Godaddy Economy or the Deluxe plan:
http://www.hosttell.com/godaddy/
(prices from $4.74/month – $6.99/month)
or Dreamhost http://www.dreamhost.com/hosting.html
Their standard price is $9.95/month ($119.40/year)
but you can use the promo code PLUS and get
$50 discount +2 Free domain names.
Disk space: Unlimited
Bandwidth: Unlimited
2 Free domain names
Unlimited domains and subdomains
Price: $5.78/month ($69.40/year)
You need a web host compatible with dreamweaver.

I will recommend you to go for highly reputable and reliable, well-known "GODADDY" web hosting. Their web hosting plans start from $3.99 per month and it is affordable especially if you are starting your web business.
They offer affordable, reliable web hosting to host your web sites – with a 99.9% network uptime commitment, 24/7 support.

I have hosted with MANY hosting companies before and of them I would suggest doing the following:
1. Register your domain with GoDaddy because they have a pretty organized interface for managing your domains. PLUS if you ever try to sell, a lot of people are familiar with it and it’s easy to transfer your domain to them.
2. Host with http://www.GotHosting.org as they are cheap and reliable. Most importantly, they do not promise anything they can’t follow up on like a lot of companies do by trying to fool you on "Unlimited" hosting.
Dreamweaver will simply produce the site, after that you would have to transfer your site to the hosting server, so dreamweaver is independant of what web host you choose. With GotHosting.org, you can get unlimited email accounts and ftp accounts along with an online filemanager if you prefer.
First let me say I am a professional web designer and you do NOT want to host on 1and1. it is in my opinion second worst hosting company that I know of.
Compatability with Dreamweaver is not an issue.
Go to http://www.samwilson3d.com , there is a list of hosts (right side menu) they all have cpanel and something called "fantastico" the least expensive of these plans is around $50 per YEAR
Godaddy has given me problems of every kind including MySQL and FTP problems and they are just a pain in the butt
Now depending on what kind of site you want, I recommend Coppermine Photo Gallery or Joomla or Zen cart which is a 1 click install using Fantastico, you can make this look however you want bu only using Photoshop and CSS. I would start with a premade template designed for Coppermine and then make adjustments from there to make the site the way you want it.(the template can just be a starting point or you can not use one at all)
Joomla can also be installed with one click using Fantastico and that may also be the way to go.
-there are about 20 different 1-click install solutions that you can install and customize with Fantastico
You should avoid hosts that offer "unlimited" space/bandwidth as this is somewhat of a scam. You should also avoid hosts that offer ridiculous amounts of space/bandwidth, such as 10GB space for only $5/month. Hosts like this overload and oversell servers, and are bad news for anyone who wants reliability.
You should also avoid answers here that send you to review sites, as those sites make money off commissions and rank hosts based on how much money they’ll get paid, not on how good they are. You should avoid answers here that look like they are affiliate links as well, for the same reason.
Hostamina.com is exactly what you need. Support is great! They will help you set up your website, and they will provide you with any help you need. Note that I am not using an affiliate link or sending you to a review site.
