If something was purchased on a credit card and returned for whatever reason, the credit appeared on the statement during the period it was returned. Seldom have we had that situation . In each case we never experienced a problem.
I really hate to say it, but it’s the law of the land. Regular people often have to wait for what is rightfully theirs. For example, Social Security… they want their information PRONTO!! The IRS wants their payment PRONTO!! But if they owe you… you wait, and wait, and wait.
Refunds should never take that long…unless you are returning something by mail. I don’t know exactly why it is, but refunds typically take 3-4 days…you have a bigger issue if it is months. That my friend is a really long time. The only time I have had it take that long was when I returned something via mail and it gets backlogged in the return items warehouse. But say it is something at Target that you go to the store and return it shouldn’t take more than a week.
