why isn't my score going up from a best buy card?

i got a best buy card last february thinking that this will help my really bad credit score. i was told that after six months it would hit my credit in a good way but my score is still the same. i am also in the process of paying off all of the debt collectors. will the best buy card boost my credit score AFTER i pay it all off? what should i do?

Your score should have gone up after 6 months of using your best buy card.
You are not carrying balances are you?
That’s a good way to ruin your credit.
Also, never use more than 20% of your available credit on your cards.
If you are carrying a balance, pay off that card – watch your score skyrocket.
Carrying debt is bringing you down – stop doing it now.

There is only one way to use credit cards to get top 800+ scores.
Buy a little something each month like gas or food and pay in full each month.
